Whether you are training for a ski marathon, want to test your stamina on trails groomed to FISI standard, or practise for competition – here you are guaranteed to find a trail just right for you. Südtirol Arena is the perfect training ground.
The favourable location and the extensive experience with artificial snow production guarantee well-groomed trails and ensure that the centre remains open from December to mid-March.
You can easily reach Südtirol Arena by public transport. The buses all stop at the centre, so you can leave your car behind and take the bus to and from your accommodation each day.
In and around the centre you will find the sports shop Rentasport Taschler which offers cross-country skiing rentals, the Antholz Valley ski school specialised in biathlon and cross-country, and numerous bars and restaurants.
The World Championships were held at Südtirol Arena in 1975, 1976, 1983, 1995 and 2007, and the Arena has hosted the IBU World Cup for many years. Other major events held at the Südtirol Arena include mountain bike races and many Italian national championships.
