For the first time in history the cross country skiing centre of Antholz and the main areas of nordic ski in the dolomites have been united to Europe’s largest cross country skiing zone: the DolomitiNordicSki. Together we offer the passionate cross country skiers best conditions to practice this exciting sport on trails prepared on a daily basis. This great DolomitiNordicSki area will be open to the public from 23rd December. If snow conditions are good enough we even open earlier. We ask for the cooperation of all cross country skiers to keep the trails in top conditions now and also in the future.  Idea Our aim is to optimize as much as possible the pleasure of practising the exciting sport of nordic skiing – to reach this goal the idea of dolomitinordicski has been born. Soon after this the project was started with 8 associated members.  Associated valleys Following valleys and areas are part of the DolomitiNordicSki arena: Alta Badia, Antholzertal, Gsieser Tal - Welsberg - Taisten, Hochpustertal, Osttirol, Comelico - Sappada, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Auronzo - Misurina - Lorenzago, Valli di Tures e Aurina, Alpe di Siusi - Val Gardena.  Target The main target of all members is to aument the quality standards regarding cross country skiing and trail preparation. Together we have worked out quality features for all trails, i. e. hight of snow level, minimum width of trails ... Furthermore the skiing trails are accurately prepared every single day to provide the best cross country skiing experience.  Snow guarantee Perfect snow conditions are guaranteed from 23rd December 2008.  Ticket price Tickets are offered at very reasonable prices that are the same for all areas.  Info & Kontakt Information about the joint project DolomitiNordicSki you can find in the brochure available at the tourist information offices and at the skiing centres.
