When the starting signal for the 51st Biathlon World Championship 2020 is given on February 12, 2020 in Anterselva, South Tyrol, LOWA will also be the official Bronze Partner. Among other things, the outdoor company supplies the 1,500 volunteers with high-quality shoes and socks.
When the best biathletes compete for the coveted world championship titles, the situation in Valle di Anterselva is exceptional: Top athletes from all over the world compete in exciting competitions and thousands of fans join in the excitement with their athletes - on location or at their screens at home. An outdoor event in a class of its own and the perfect partnership for LOWA.
"Athletes, spectators and athletes of all categories meet in Anterselva and celebrate their enthusiasm for outdoor sports. As a shoe brand we share exactly this enthusiasm and the joy of the outdoor experience. We are therefore proud to support the Biathlon World Championship in 2020 as Bronze Partner", LOWA Managing Director Alexander Nicolai explained.
For the event, the traditional Jetzendorf-based company is equipping the approximately 1,500 volunteers as well as the organisers with high-quality outdoor shoes and socks. The warm lined special model ANTHOLZ GTX® MID offers the best weather protection here. In combination with the high-quality outdoor socks, the numerous helpers are optimally equipped for their work at the World Championships. The first pair of this special edition was now handed over to Lorenz Leitgeb, head of the organizing committee by the LOWA Export Manager Gian Luca Farinazzo.
