22.01.2021 - First-class tracks thanks to PRINOTH snow groomers!

The impressions of the 2020 Biathlon World Championships in Antholz are still vivid in our memories and all the emotions come flooding back - how we shared the excitement, how we cheered on our athletes, how we celebrated...

This year, unfortunately, will be a lot quieter. The athletes will compete without a live audience. Of course, there are things that haven't changed: the heart and soul that the Antholz region puts into the Biathlon World Cup every year, the adept preparation of the Antholz organising committee, the exciting races of the athletes from all over the world whose fighting spirit makes the snow in the arena clink and, of course, the impeccable cross-country track quality. Antholz is internationally renowned for this and traditionally relies on PRINOTH technology. Last week, the two new PRINOTH snow groomers, BISON X and HUSKY X, arrived in Antholz and immediately got to work. It is a matter of course that this equipment produces the best-groomed cross-country ski trails! Special attachments ensure that the snow is optimally compressed. This results in a better, high quality and above all more long-lasting cross-country course – even on rough terrain. The relative position remains constant even when cornering and achieves a loosening of the snow layer where the track shoe runs at just those points. The top address in biathlon leaves nothing to chance and PRINOTH is proud to be part of Antholz 2021!

PRINOTH is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of snow groomers. For more than 50 years, the company has maintained its head office in Sterzing for innovative technologies in slope preparation.
