In the 10 km women's pursuit, Lou Jeanmonnot delivered a commanding performance to claim victory ahead of her teammate Julia Simon and Germany’s Franziska Preuss.
Jeanmonnot thrilled the 18,000 spectators packed into the Antholz Biathlon Center. The 26-year-old French athlete secured her second win in just three days after her triumph in the sprint event on Thursday. Her solid performance in the pursuit earned her another World Cup victory, showcasing her outstanding form. Starting the race in bib number 1, Jeanmonnot defended her lead with confidence and finished 24.1 seconds ahead of Julia Simon, who climbed from 5th place to secure the silver medal.
Rounding out the podium was Franziska Preuss, the German overall World Cup leader, who battled fiercely in the final leg to secure bronze ahead of another French competitor, Jeanne Richard. Fifth place went to Oceane Michelon, marking another remarkable achievement for Team France.
Dorothea Wierer Struggles at the Shooting Range

She ended the race in a disappointing 33rd place. The best Italian performance came from Martina Trabucchi, who finished 19th. Samuela Comola and Michela Carrara placed 24th and 27th, respectively. Local heroes Hannah Auchentaller and Rebecca Passler finished 32nd and 33rd, each missing two targets.
