The harpf experts behind the scenes

The temperature of the beer tanks is monitored 24 hours a day, nearly 60 pumps are ready, and at least 30,000 steps are taken daily – the team of harpf is constantly on a mission during the World Cup.

A few days before the competition begins, the beer is still maturing in the brewery’s storage cellars before being transported directly from Rosenheim to Antholz. Meanwhile, the team of harpf begins its work, setting up the taps and preparing everything with passion and precision. The freshly delivered beer is ready on-site in tanks ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 liters and flows into the various spots through heated “python pipes”. The biggest challenge is preventing the beer from freezing in the pipes at outside temperatures of -20°C. To prevent this, the temperature of the truck, where the beer tanks are located, is monitored 24/7 via an app. Additionally, four employees circulate from morning to evening during the competitions, moving between the biathlon arena, the track, the big tent, and the village, ensuring a flawless beer experience for all, even in freezing conditions.
