Nestled in the impressive mountain scenery of the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park, the Antholz Valley stretches all the way to Lake Antholz and the majestic peaks along the Austrian border. Small villages, unspoilt landscapes and a spectacular Alpine setting shape the valley and make Antholz a truly special place – in winter as well as in summer.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games added another unforgettable chapter: the world’s best biathletes competed for Olympic medals in Antholz, turning the Antholz Valley into a stage for international winter sport.
But Antholz is about much more than major sporting events. On the cross-country trails running through the valley and around the biathlon stadium, skiers can leave their own tracks in the snow-covered landscape and head towards the spectacular mountains at the end of the valley. Winter hiking, snowshoeing and peaceful spots away from the crowds reveal another side of Antholz: authentic, close to nature and wonderfully relaxing.
