Antholz 2021: All fans in the "front row"

The countdown and preparations are in full swing. The Biathlon World Cup stage in Antholz - the last test before the World Championships in Pokljuka (SLO) - is just two and a half months away.
Even though the 2021 edition will be different from the previous years and very unusual, we are happy to be able to organise the World Cup. Of course, the health of the athletes, coaches and volunteers is our first priority and we will guarantee maximum safety for all participants.

Therefore the decision has now been taken: In agreement with the Governor of South Tyrol and the relevant regional authorities, we will organise the races WITHOUT SPECTATORS.
This is a unavoidable precautionary measure, given the current epidemiological situation throughout Europe.

However, don’t be disappointed, dear biathlon fans. You will be part of it in a digital way and more than ever we will bring the “Antholz Feeling” as exciting as possible to your home. You all will have a front row seat even if only digitally. But wait and see, we have some great ideas for it…

Nestled between imposing mountains and perfectly adapted to the landscape, the grandstand in the stadium offers space for around 15,000 fans. While the seats and the L-area are fixed grandstands, the M-area is set up especially for the event and additionally divided into M1, M2 and M3. On the course area located directly at the famous Huber Alm, up to 6,000 fans follow the exciting competitions.
