At the mass start, the best 30 biathlete so far give it once again all they’ve got and compete for a top position in the final race in Antholz 2024.

In this mass start, the shared start and the varied shooting will ensure a fitting conclusion to the World Cup. For the grand finale, the 30 elite women will once again compete on a course of 12,5 km. This discipline also offers a last chance for the biathlete to collect a good number of World Cup points. You can't get more adrenalin!

ALL ABOUT THE COURSE
The 30 world bests athletes start simultaneously and compete over a course of 12.5 km for women, 15 km for men. The four shooting range stages follow the same pattern as the pursuit with the first two in the prone position and the last two in standing. Each missed target corresponds to a penalty loop of 150m. The winner of the mass start is whomever crosses the finish line first.
